There is a comprehensive introduction and an expanded appendix included.

They provide a clear idea of the type of studies that need to follow this case study work in order to more fully assess this approach.  In the final chapter, Ed Smith (the founder of Theophostic Prayer) answers many frequently asked questions about Theophostic Prayer.

He has a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Biology from Wake Forest University. His interest areas include spiritual interventions in psychotherapy and Christian counselor education. The purpose of this book is to introduce people from the Catholic tradition to the teachings of Theophostic Prayer Ministry. It was written by a Catholic priest who is using the Theophostic approach in his own ministry setting. The author, Fr. David Tickerhoof, shows how TPM is very compatible with the teachings of the Catholic Church and can benefit those who seek to utilize it.

Daddy, Daddy  - Music CD

This CD is a digital reproduction of songs that were recorded "way back" in the early nineties by Dr. Ed and Sharon Smith.  They are all original tunes that were written by them as a part of a marriage enrichment seminar they led called the "Basic Ingredients for a Happy Marriage."  The style is somewhat dated, but the message is still relevant.  A sundry of issues are dealt with on this CD to include such things as: the marriage relationship (All Life Long, Two Hearts, Our Hearts are One), the "Empty Nest Syndrome" (Raised You Up and I Let You Go), Childhood wounded-ness (Daddy, Daddy), the death of a spouse (Shadows of the Moon), the death of our their daughter (Sarah Michele) in 1987 (In Faith I Look Up to Thee) and other various topics.
